Carnival To End
Mobile Cruising
Citing pricing issues and rising fuel costs, Carnival Cruise Lines has announced it will cease year-round cruises on Carnival Elation from Mobile, AL after Oct. 22.
Local officials expressed total surprise at the decision. Not only will the destination lose tourism dollars spent by cruisers, the port will come up short with revenues needed to pay down debt on the cruise terminal.
No other lines provide year-round service at Mobile. Read more about the decision here. |
